Molteni

Molteni is one of the principal Italian industrial groups in the furniture sector and many things have changed since 1934, when the small business was founded in Giussano, in Brianza, by Angelo and Giuseppina Moplteni. Production is now industrial, distribution now international.

Molteni&C is a company defined by advanced technology and a longstanding tradition. Since the '70s it has focused on research in the modular furniture sector, creating solutions for all home enviroments. Its systems, such as 505, Gliss 5th and Pass, are highly successful and in constant evolution. Since the '80s Molteni&C has proposed a collection of single furniture items whose systems ebody an elegant and functional house. From designs drawn out of the collective memory of the home, with Also Rossi, the '90s led to furniture designed by Jean Nouvel were essentiality merged with the hi-tech. In 2004, a special "Upholstery Division" was created which operates driven by a strong push toward product innovation along with the control of all production activities and careful research in the materials and upholstery sector. Molteni furnishings incorporate the wisdom of a long artisan tradition together with innovative technological quality taht is pratical without being ostentatious.
