The peculiarity of the Mercer is based on its raw cotton ribbed shade which floats in a transparent blown glass structure. There are three sizes, the largest becoming a centrepiece and the smallest creating a cosier space.
This lamp exists in two versions: in the first, the raw cotton colour of the ribbed shade sends out a direct and diffused light; the second, a more sober design, has a black ribbed cotton shade, which is more sophisticated and sends out light directed to the top and bottom.
