Configure Bernhard Pedersen & Son Sideboard 156
OR
The sideboard was designed in 1966 and taps into the essence of Danish Modern with its clean lines, functional design and expert craftsmanship. The piece features tambour doors that roll seamlessly into the back. A rare technique today that is not only pleasing to the eye, but also functionally ideal as it minimises the space needed.
The interior of the cabinet is beautifully finished with shelves on each side and a middle section with pull-out dovetail trays for added storage. The curved front edges are constructed in solid wood as are the tambour doors, base and legs.
To add extra detail to the design, the legs are pulled slightly under the sideboard to account for skirting, making it possible to place the piece up close to the wall. With a veneered back it can also find great use as a room divider.
Available in oak, walnut, teak and palisander.
