Colour Inspiration
Is there anything more potent than an image or work of art that requires a double take? We were mesmerised when we first experienced the colour soaked palette of the late British painter Sargy Mann.
With a rushed elementary style, yet exquisite control of colour, it was incredible to discover that during Sargy Manns later life, the painter suffered with steadily worsening vision, that resulted in the complete loss of sight in 1988.
The dual lighting effect that characterises Maki creates a suggestive theatrical effect.
