The Fritz Hansen Series 7 Chair by Arne Jacobsen was designed in 1955 and has become one of the greatest selling pieces of furniture ever designed. The Series 7 became a pop culture icon in 1963 after being featured in a photograph of Christine Keeler shot by Lewis Morley. Made of only two pieces - form-pressed plywood and metal legs, the chair is elegant in its simplicity.
