Louis Poulsen AJ Floor Lamp
AJ Floor has a fixture head with a distinct asymmetrical shape which determines the light characteristics of the fixture. The fixture head is tiltable. The base of the floor lamp has a hole which adds elegance and lightness to the design. The unique quality of its design idiom has made these fixtures modern classics.
Designed by Arne Jacobsen in 1960 for the SAS Royal Hotel in Copenhagen and was part of the total design concept created for the hotel. In connection with the 50th anniversary of the launch of the AJ lighting family five new colour variants were introduced. The new colours are carefully chosen from an updated Arne Jacobsen colour concept.
